Bonding
Bonding helps keep people safe from electricity in the pool area by making everything equal. It's just like how birds don't get shocked when on electrical lines. No difference in voltage = no current flow. Regardless of any other safety measure, if the bond isn't working, you're in danger.
GFCI Protection
GFCI (ground fault circuit interrupt) protection is required by code and a key to swimmer safety. GFCI breakers and outlets are much more sensitive to electrical problems and are designed to keep people safe around water. No pool is safe without the circuits being GFCI protected.
Code Compliance
Electrical Codes are the minimum standards of safety designed to protect people from shock, fire, and other hazards. When a pool’s electrical system meets code, it means the essential safeguards are in place. Code compliance is the baseline—not the ceiling—for a safe and reliable pool system.
